METHANE GAS IN POWER PLANTS BURNING WASTE BANTAR GEBANG
Methane gas in power plants waste Bantargebang, Bekasi, West Java, on fire on Tuesday, at around 20:00 pm. Three workers who were to connect the vacuum pipe methane gas in zone 3 where the integrated waste management (TPST) suffered burns to the face and palms.
According to Director of PT Jaya Godang Parent, as manager TPST Bantargebang, Douglas Manurung, fire comes from diesel engines that use methane gas pipe heats workers who want to be connected. "Suddenly a spark and the three victims," he said yesterday.
All three victims were Deni Saputra, 27 years, Tony (36), and Samin (29). All three rushed to the Hospital Thamrin, Cullinan, Bogor Regency, and yesterday afternoon was working again.
Douglas said when the fire occurred, the officer immediately requested assistance TPST Bantargebang firefighters. Fire can be extinguished after a while.
