In the framework of implementation of Presidential Decree 78/2005 on the Management of Minor Outlying Islands (PPKT) and in order to develop PPKT, as an inseparable integral part of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia, Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries together with 13 of 17 Ministries / Institutions (KL) which 78 members of the Presidential Team will make a visit to the island Lingayan, Kab. Tolitoli, Central Sulawesi Province on 16-19 August 2011. The delegation was led by the Director General. KP3K, and will be attended by the Deputy Minister of Industry, Deputy Coordinating Ministry for Politics IV, Deputy Governor of Central Sulawesi, Regent Tolitoli, Advisory and MKP specialized staff and representatives of 13 K / L-related.
The series of events in the framework of these activities, among them:
1. Face to Face Director General. KP3K, Deputy Governor and his entourage with the community Lingayan Island on August 17, 2011 (prior to the ceremony).
2. Flag ceremony commemorating the anniversary of the 66th Independence Day on the Island Lingayan, Kab. Tolitoli, Central Sulawesi, as one PPKT on August 17, 2011
3. Workshop on Development of Small Islands in Integrated outermost on August 18, 2011 in Palu City.
Intents and purposes held several agenda is to evoke the spirit of love and defend the nation's homeland, where the outermost small islands including the island of Homeland Lingayan is the front porch that must be kept and maintained as well as a very serious need of attention from the government. To that end through a series of activities all agencies 17 KL and Local Government (Central Sulawesi province and district. Tolitoli) is expected to consider the Island Lingayan and other PPKT in Central Sulawesi province, including the Island and Island Dolangan Solando to be able to observe this PPKT with the inhabitants who live in it . To get it in front, Presidential Team will conduct an integrated cross-KL to further streamline the implementation of development in PPKT, for the implementation of the workshop will be held on August 18, 2011 can generate a comprehensive formula that can be implemented and adopted by 17 KL and Local Government in building , develop and empower people in PPKT as an inseparable integral part of the Homeland.
The series of warnings Aug. 17 in the outermost small islands is a tradition that continue to be done by the CTF, the Ministry and related agencies to involve local governments and local communities in order to strengthen the sense of nationhood and the spirit of Homeland.
