4.000 KENDARAAN MUDIK LEWAT BEKASI

Kepolisian Resor Kota Bekasi Kota, Jawa Barat mencatat jumlah kendaraan mudik bermotor yang melintas di Kota Bekasi hingga H-5 Lebaran 2011 mencapai 4.000 unit per dua jam. "Peningkatan kendaraan bermotor ini biasanya terjadi di atas jam 00.00 WIB di mana setiap dua jam tercatat 4.000 lebih kendaraan melintas ke arah Pantura," kata Kapolresta Bekasi Kota, Kombes Priyo Widiyanto, di Bekasi, Jumat (26/8).

Menurut dia, data tersebut berdasarkan hasil hitungan petugas di Pospam VI di Jalan Hasibuan, Bekasi Timur, yang merupakan lintasan mudik dari arah Jakarta melalui Jalan KH Noer Alie-Hasibuan-Chairil Anwar. "Biasanya pemudik memilih berangkat malam hari untuk menghindari terik matahari," katanya.
