UPACARA 17 AGUSTUS DIHADIRI 3.000 ORANG
Pengibaran bendera pusaka, sangsaka merah putih pada peringatan hari kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia (RI) 17 Agustus di Kota Tangerang, dipusatkan dilapangan Ahmad Yani, Kota Tangerang. Sebelum melangsungkan upacara bendera yang akan dihadiri 3000 peserta ini, Pemkot Tangerang akan melakukan beberapa agenda seremonial. “Sebelum pengibaran bendera pada tanggal 17 Agustus mendatang, ada beberapa kegiatan yang akan dilakukan sebelumnya, dan ini sudah dilakukan rutin tiap tahunnya untuk mengenang jasa pahlawan dalam memperjuangkan kemerdekaan, dan untuk memberikan semangat untuk memperjuangkan kemerdekaan,” terang Kabag Humas dan Protokol Pemkot Tangerang, Mayoris Namaga saat ditemui dikantornya.
Beberapa agenda yang akan dilakukan sebelum peringatan hari kemerdekaan ditahun 2011 ini, diantaranya, pengukuhan paskibraka yang telah dilangsungkan pada (15/8) pukul 16.00 diruang Al’Amanah Puspemkot Tangerang, dilanjutkan dengan mendengar pidato kenegaraan di gedung DPRD Kota Tangerang pada (16/8) pukul 10.00. serta melakukan prosesi apel kehormatan renungan suci yang dilangsungkan pada hari yang sama pukul 24.00 diTaman Makam Pahlawan (TMP) Taruna. “Prosesi sebelum peringatan hari kemerdekaan ini akan diikuti oleh Kepala Daerah, Kepala SKPD dan jajaran Muspida serta DPRD, semoga saja semua berjalan dengan baik dan kita sebagai penerus kemerdekaan dapat mengisi kemerdekaan ini dengan pembangunan dan menciptakan masyarakat sejahtera,” katanya lagi.

Sementara itu, Kepala Dinas Pemuda Olah Raga dan Budaya, (Disporbudpar) Kota Tangerang, Tabrani mengatakan bahwa Pasukan Pengibar Bendera (Paskibraka) sudah siap dan terlatih untuk hari penting bangsa Indonesia ini, Para Paskibraka sudah hampir satu bulan dilatih untuk dapat tampil maksimal dalam peringatan 17 Agustus tahun ini. “ Walaupun dalam kondisi berpuasa, Paskibraka terus berlatih dan kami berikan apresiasi tinggi untuk hal ini, semoga mereka dapat menjalankan tugasnya dengan baik,” pungkasnya.
